About Me on Wikipedia

edit

Hello, my name is Silver seren, though my common nickname is Silver. I've been a member of Wikipedia since 2006.

My work around here is a lot quieter than it used to be, depending on the free time I have available to work on articles. This often leads to stretches where I don't edit and then I pop back in to write an article or two. My primary focus on articles includes biographies and books, usually of the popular science variety. While I make bold edits to articles, my abilities are more on the creation level than the type of finesse and specificity needed to reach Good or Featured article status, hence why I only have a few listed above in that vein. But I am a very frequent contributor to the DYK section.

Other than making articles, I also have a strong interest in unreferenced articles, so I frequently work through the backlog categories and add a reference or two in them to prove existence. If you ever need any assistance with finding references for a subject, please feel free to reach out to me. I really enjoy doing deep internet dives to find sources.

Cookies!

16912 Rhiannon has given you some cookies! Cookies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. You can spread the "WikiLove" by giving someone else some cookies, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.

Thanks so much for helping with the Laura Mercier and Gurwitch articles! 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 00:21, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

To spread the goodness of cookies, you can add {{subst:Cookies}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}!

7&6=thirteen () has given you a Dobos torte to enjoy! Seven layers of fun because you deserve it.

To give a Dobos torte and spread the WikiLove, just place {{subst:Dobos Torte}} on someone else's talkpage, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.

Thank you so much for improving the Brad Banducci article!!! GMH Melbourne (talk) 02:27, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
A can of Moxie for you
Thriley has given you a refreshing Moxie! Moxie is soft drink flavored with gentian root extract created around 1876 as a patent medicine called "Moxie Nerve Food." It is the origin of the word "moxie", a noun meaning energy, determination, and spunk.

Please enjoy this first Wikipedia Moxie. May it power you in your searches through the library!
