Barney Prine

Source: Article in Oregon Daily Journal published on 19 June 1919 said: "Barney Prine was a member of our regiment—the First Oregon Infantry. … He was the best footracer in our regiment. He won a lot of money showing his heels to other chaps who thought they could run."
