Notability

edit

I couldn't find any reliable sources with substantial coverage of the party. John Nevard (talk) 08:10, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

They are a registered party in NZ politics (list here). Which means they have over 500 members. I think this alone makes them notable. Mattlore (talk) 10:15, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I re-uploaded the party logo with fair-use explanation. --IdiotSavant (talk) 06:01, 22 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

NZRP/RONZ

edit

This article includes info on Bevan Berg, of NZRP (presumably New Zealand Republican Party). Is this the same as RONZ (Republic of New Zealand) Party? Elections NZ, Maungakiekie 2005 has them listed separately, as do the 2005 election results. Fanx (talk) 09:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have removed claim of NZRP (an unregistered party)candidate, Bevan Berg being 2nd lowest polling candidate (14 votes) on three grounds.

  • Wrong party - NZRP is not RONZP
  • linked article provided provisional results only - special votes had not been counted
  • Debra Potroz, RONZP candidate in Taupō scored lower (11 votes)

Mel Whaanga, DDP candidate in Northland remains the lowest polling candidate on 10 votes. Fanx (talk) 19:10, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conservative

edit

I doubt this party is conservative. It is more likely to be influenced by left wing Irish republicanism. See http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10843422 101.98.74.13 (talk) 07:05, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Uh, the article doesn't say that. --LJ Holden 21:34, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
