Most teams driven for in a season
editThe page currently lists Nyck de Vries with 5 constructors, but he only drove one grand prix for Williams F1 in the season he was listed.
Including practice runs, it appears he only actually drove the car for 3 teams, Alpine F1 (during test at Hungaroring), Williams F1 (practice in Spain, race at Monza), and Mercedes-AMG F1 (two practice runs at France and Mexico). He did also receive a seat fitting for McLaren prior to Brazil GP, but did not race for the team or participate in practice.
I'm not sure what event he participated in with Aston Martin F1, but overall the data appears incorrect and should be amended. I'm not sure if this would alter the current record holder. 71.178.74.165 (talk) 03:27, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
- The links to the artidles desbcribing each of the different activities he did for each team are profided in the references. Seems quite clear to me.

The references
editA lot of references added to the tables are outdated. Some are good, from StatsF1 for example. But some are more than 5 years old and have not been updated. Some are about the recordholder only, not saying anything about the rest of the top 10, which you cannot use as reference. For example news articles about Lewis Hamilton who broke a record. Some references don't even mention anything about the record, they're just there so there is a reference present. This all also causes that there are too many references listed, which also adds up to the data and loading time of this already big page. The references on Wikipedia are there so people can fact check and learn more about what was written. So I suggest we only use references who are useful and tell us the full truth about what is said. Most consecutive points scored
editLando Norris is included in this list despite not finishing the main race at Austria 2024. He scored points in the Sprint but not in the main race. Surely he needs to be taken out of this list, as he does not qualify by a wide margin! Thanks Mickey Smiths (talk) 06:16, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
Headings don't collapse on mobile
editThe heading don't collapse on mobile wiki, making it hard to find anything on the page. EulersNumberIsGreat (talk) 13:47, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
Longest streak of non-consecutive race winners
editSo I noticed for this season (2024) that there hasn't been back-to-back victories since Verstappen won Canada and Spain back-to-back. Since then, the driver who has won the next race did not win the previous.
I know there are records already for the longest streak of DIFFERENT race winners, but it got me thinking, what is the longest streak of races of non-consecutive winners? In other words, the longest run of races where the winning driver did not win the previous.
I went through the entire race results history since the Driver's Championship started in 1950 to now (The source I used is the offical formula1.com website, results page) and kept a tally. The longest run of races I could find was 27: Niki Lauda won the 1982 USA West Grand Prix, all the way to Nelson Piquet's victory in the 1983 Europe Grand Prix. The next race Piquet won as well, ending the streak at 27 races with non-consecutive winners.
Not sure if this is something interesting to include since I couldn't find any data on this anywhere, and found it rather relevant and interesting given the hype this season with the record multiple race victors. Also it contrasts with the record of most consecutive race victories
Anyway, that's my contribution - wanted to share it more than anything 92.232.1.234 (talk) 19:49, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
