@Voice4People:, can you provide sources to say she is not British? Also please don't call other editors changes vandalism, just because you don't like it. Please see WP:NOTVANDALISM WikiVirusC(talk) 15:16, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
She is described as British only for being based in England. There is no evidence to support her obtaining “British citizenship” which would be the only way for her to be considered “British” due to the fact that she was born and raised in Guyana to Guyanese parents and ancestry. Her nationality remains solely as Guyanese unless it can be cited of her having dual citizenship in England. Voice4People (talk) 15:26, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- We write Wikipedia articles based on what reliable sources say. We do not put our own interpretations of things on it. Can you stop reverting changes while we discuss this. We use reliable sources for articles, not citizenship documents. WikiVirusC(talk) 15:33, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
We use reliable sources that have FACTUAL information. This cannot be my own interpretation when the information is publicly stated. You cannot and shouldn’t add a nationality to ones biography just because they are residing and based in that particular country, UNLESS there are sources to prove dual citizenship in that country- which would be the only way for her to obtain the “British” nationality— again, factual information. Where was Letitia born? Guyana. Where did she live for most of her early childhood? Guyana. Where is her parents from? Guyana. Where is the rest of her family and ancestors from? Guyana. She is in no way or form “British” unless she obtains citizenship and describes herself as such. Do you have sources to support her obtaining British nationality- which would be by citizenship only? Do you have sources to support Letitia describing herself as a “British” or “Guyanese-British”? She doesn’t have any ties to England besides the fact that she resides there, so the “British” nationality should not be represented in her biography unless dual citizenship is sourced. Voice4People (talk) 15:44, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Strong emphasis around “She has no ties to England besides the fact that she resides there!” With that being said, “British” should not be added to her biography as a nationality until it can be proven if she has citizenship in England. Cite a source in which Letitia refers to herself as such or in which it states that she has dual citizenship in both England and Guyana, then “Guyanese-British” would be appropriate. Voice4People (talk) 15:49, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- We describer he as reliable sources do. RS don't say dual citizenship, and we don't say dual citizen in article either. We don't look at where she was born, raised or her parents to determine how to describe her, we look at reliable sources, the same as we do for every other detail we put in articles. WikiVirusC(talk) 15:56, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- The overwhelming consensus of reliable sources describe her as Guyanese-British, including the official website for the government of Guyana. She's also listed as Guyanese-British in the Simple English Wikipedia, so it's needlessly inconsistent to avoid describing her that way here.
- According to MOS: NATIONALITY "In cases of public or relevant dual citizenship, or a career that spans a subject's emigration, the use of the word and reduces ambiguity.

That is incorrect. For example, people such as Trinidad James (the rapper) was born in Trinidad to Trinidadian parents and ancestry and migrated to America around age 7 as well and have been based in Atlanta ever since. There is an abundant of different sources that claim him as “Trinidadian-American”, and those which claim him solely as “Trinidadian/Trinidadian-born”. Due to there being zero sources cited of any “American” citizenship for Trinidad James, his biography was updated in Wikipedia to correctly represent his original nationality and heritage as “Trinidadian-born” despite him being based in Atlanta in the U.S. You need to be a citizen of another country in order to can claim/add that nationality to one’s own. This has also been applied to a significant amount of artists and notable people as well on Wikipedia as well. A lot of these people are proud of who they are and where they come from, so there is no need to add another nationality other than their own and what they identify themselves as such— which Letitia identifies solely as “Guyanese”, if you watched her interviews, you would know. She was not born in England nor does she have any family from England, so she doesn’t have any ties to England, which means, there is no way to accurately describe her as “British” in her nationality unless she was to obtain citizenship and there is no source to support this. With that being said, if you want England to be represented in her biography, it can be updated to “Guyanese actress based in England”. Otherwise, until there is some form of dual citizenship that can be cited, she shouldn’t have any other nationality added to her biography other than her own. - Your arguments are not based on Wikipedia policy they are based on what you deem as facts or not. Please review how wikipedia works, and please base an argument on that. We are not talking about citizenship but that seems to be your entire argument. I don't know her citizenship, I only know how she is described in reliable sources. In regards to Trinadad James, I would quote WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS but this change didn't even exist until you put it in that article. I already know your opinion, so pointing me to another instance of your opinion being pushed on an article doesn't help any, but the same principle applies there. I won't revert that article while already having a debate about it here. Please also see talk page there for prior discussions on his nationality. I am not going to engage in an edit war with you so I will give it some time to see if any other active editors of this page want to comment, then I will get a third opinion if needed after a few days. I am done reverting until others chime in, I strongly suggest you do the same. WikiVirusC(talk) 17:15, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Nothing of what I’m saying is going off of an “opinion”. It seems as if you have little to no background knowledge on Letitia Wright at all and just chose to edit her page just because. You just stated “I don’t know her citizenship. I just know how she is described in reliable sources.” Yet, the aspect in which you’re editing is her nationality field in which you would NEED to know her citizenship to make an accurate edit. Some sources add the “British” due to her residing in England and being based there. This doesn’t mean she is British nationality- which would have to be obtained by citizenship only (reasons why I’m telling you cite the sources for this and it can be added). Not EVERY bit of information in these sources needs to be mentioned. Take the time out to watch videos of her when she’s being interviewed and of that sort, then, you would see that she refers to herself as a “Guyanese living in England”. If she doesn’t describe herself as a “British” why add it to her nationality just because Some sources have this mentioned? We obviously know she is Guyanese by birth and we know that her parents are from Guyana, as well as the rest of her family, correct? We know that she migrated to England for a better life and she is now an actress that is based in England, correct? So again, the only way for her to accurately be represented as “Guyanese-British” would be if there could be a cite sourced that supports dual citizenship. Voice4People (talk) 17:41, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- I was not saying anything about her birthplace or heritiage being an opinion of yours. I was saying the way you think Wikipedia articles should be editted is your opinion. WikiVirusC(talk) 17:51, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Ok, but not everything referred in sources needs to be mentioned or added to Wikipedia either. For example, can you prove that she is a British? Literally. How can you prove that she is British if she wasn’t born in England nor have any family from England? How? There is only one way and that would be through her obtaining citizenship of England, then it would be appropriate to add “British” if that’s what she identified as. However, there is no source to support dual citizenship and when editing in Wikipedia, you must cite sources with information that can be proved! Voice4People (talk) 17:58, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Antivax =/= Vaccine Skepticism
editLetitia Wright has never stated anything against vaccines in any of her tweets or reported comments, she has stated numerous times that she is skeptical of the Covid 19 vaccine specifically which, at the time, was not FDA approved. Antivax by definition is being "opposed to vaccination". I feel the current wording seems to insinuate that is an anti-vaxxer and not the fact that she was simply skeptical of Covid 19 vaccinations. The CDC also has its own page set up which talks specifically about historical vaccine safety concerns, which should be included as a reference to her sentiments instead of mischaracterizing her based on hollywood gossip and innuendo.
