editHi, I think the article about Integro-differential equation is a bit “misleading”. It just focuses on the kind of Integro-differential equation related to ODE's. For partial integro-differential equations the Laplace transform is not a silver bullet and they are also a kind of the Integro-differential equations. The book "Finite Element Methods for Integrodifferential Equations " by C. Chen, and T. Shih might provide further information. Bye.
Scope of the article
editI think this article is too short and narrow in scope as it only deals with one kind of integro-differential equation. Especially a section talking about partial integro-differential equations would be welcome. This is related to the optimal control of jump processes and as such at least worth mentioning in the applications section. Irvaneal (talk) 11:09, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
