Description
English: The tail of a conventional aircraft (here, an Airbus A380 airliner). The vertical stabilizer is fixed, and the rudder is movable; they provide directional (yaw) stability and control. The horizontal stabilizer can be slowly adjusted, and the elevators are movable; they provide longitudinal stability and control.
