English: Graph of quality factor (QF) versus dose-averaged unrestricted linear energy transfer (LET) of ionizing radiation. The quality factor is meant to approximate the relative biological effectiveness in humans. QF's have since been replaced by radiation weighting factors that are independent of LET.
