Summary

Description A photo of the original bridge crossing the Pigeon River between Minnesota and Ontario. The border-crossing bridge was constructed without Federal approval by the rotary clubs of Duluth and Port Arthur (now Thunder Bay) and opened to traffic on August 18, 1917. This created the first road link into Port Arthur.
