English: Arms of Harpur of Swarkestone Hall, Derbyshire: Argent, a lion rampant within a bordure engrailed sable, as borne by the Harpur-Crewe Baronets (Debrett's Baronetage of England, 7th Edition, 1835, p.35 [1]). The Church of St James, Swarkestone, Derbyshire, contains the Harpur Chapel, within which survive alabaster monuments to Sir Richard Harpur (d.1577) and Sir John Harpur (d.1627)[2]
