Road-inaccessible communities of Brazil includes any census-recognised municipality or other settlement within Brazil whose road network is not linked by permanent means to the larger highway grid of Brazil.
In most cases, ferry connections count as connecting communities to the highway grid; especially in the case of major cities (ie: Manaus). Isolated villages on infrequent ferry routes and not serviced by roads are suitable for inclusion, as are localities with a small road link.
