Kory Stamper

Kory Stamper is a lexicographer and editor for the Merriam-Webster dictionary. In addition to her editorial duties, Stamper is also one of the presenters in Merriam-Webster's "Ask the Editor" [1] video series, a series of videos available from the Merriam-Webster website and YouTube, that discuss the English language, especially unusual or controversial words and usages. Stamper also undertakes speaking engagements on behalf of Merriam-Webster.

She has a small, but loyal and growing fan base [2] who have created a Kory Stamper Facebook Fan Page.

Recently Stamper has begun blogging [3]

She describes herself as a "word nerd" and enjoys "other nerdy things, including knitting, baking, and live sound engineering".[4]
