Timothy Albee is a CGI Character Animator for the Re-imagined series of Battlestar Galactica.

Biographical notes[edit]

With experience on such projects as Babylon 5, Activision's Apocalypse, and Disney's Dinosaur, Albee struck out on his own and created his own CGI animated movie, Kaze, Ghost Warrior, entirely on his own in 6 months with $5,000 worth of computers and software in a cabin in Alaska. [1]

Proving the idea that a big studio with a big budget is not needed to create a professional-quality animated movie, Tim signed onto a werewolf movie project called Freeborn and started several movie projects on his own, including expanding the original Kaze, Ghost Warrior episode (which was meant to be the pilot of a series) as well as creating its sequel, but put his projects on hiatus to accept a position as CGI Character Animator for Battlestar Galactica's third season. Albee's work on the series involves animating the CGI characters, namely the Cylon Centurions.[2]
