I love decorating for patriotic holidays. But they usually sneak up on me and I end up not having much time to make July 4th decorations. So I’ve collected some quick and easy DIY projects from some of my blogging friends.

5 DIY July 4th Decorations
1 – Flag Mason Jar Candle Holder
Here’s a super easy and super cute project that probably takes the least time of any of our projects. This jar can be used to hold a votive candle or fill it with flags or flowers.
We’re starting off easy and working our way up to harder projects. But don’t worry, this next one is easy, too. Next in our list is another mason jar project. It will be a little more involved that this one but still easy!
2 – Red, White, and Blue Mason Jar Flag
These mason jars are pretty AND useful! Perfect for a 4th of July picnic!
Got some extra bandanas hanging around? Check out the next project!
3 – Patriotic Bandana Wreath
Check out Denise’s blog to see how she made this amazing wreath out of bandanas! This looks beautiful and doesn’t take a lot of special skills. Great idea for a wanna-be DIYer!

Our next DIY project is HUGE… great if you want to add 4th of July decorations to your porch or yard. But don’t worry, even though it’s big it takes less than 30 minutes.
4 – American Flag Pallet
I’m loving this project! It’s a pallet wood project that doesn’t require ANY tools or building skills. All you have to do it paint and attach the stars. Check out Leanna’s blog post to see her secret to get this project done in under 30 minutes!!!
Got old blue jeans around? The next project will help you use them up!
5 – Patriotic Denim Pennants
These were made out of my husband’s old blue jeans! I couldn’t bear to through them away.
And if you don’t want to make decorations, I found these fun things on Amazon:
