Through this article the connection of African and Asian elephants with the prominent empires hav... more Through this article the connection of African and Asian elephants with the prominent empires have been deeply discussed and it will summarize maximum understanding of the matters through scholarly debates. This work mostly focused on primary sources analysis by using secondary source as such Trautman's "Elephants and King; An Environmental History" and Sukumar Raman's "The living elephants: evolutionary ecology, behaviour, and conservation". Primary sources such as Arthashastra and Ain I Akbari are the major sources to recreat this historical narratives in the indian subcontinent. The ancient notion in respect with elephant has clearely described in this article, as the way in which in the primary sources as described. The secondory sources yet powerfull arguments can deeply understood by analysing in the bibliographic works which I have mentioned in the below of the article.
