But it’s every bit as stunning! ⚠️Before sharing the location, please know this one is on private land owned by the Methodist Church (Alta Mons) They keep it open for everyone to enjoy so…. 🗑️ Pack out your trash 🥾 Stay on the designated trails 🙏🏼 Be respectful to the surrounding land & people you encounter 📌 Stiles Falls 📍 Shawsville, Virginia (NOTE: this trail is closed in June & July when they have summer camps so plan accordingly) ⭐️Hiking Info: 3 1/2 miles out and back 330 feet elevation gain rated as easy to moderate 🗺️ Trail route, map, photos, & reviews can be found using the free @alltrails app 💧There are 3 creek crossings, so depending on how much it’s rained you may or may not get your feet wet 🪨 There is rock scrambling at the falls.
