this is just absolutely not true. people do not normally drink printer ink.
it genuinely drives me crazy how many people in my social circles are noticeably sick 3+ times a year now and just go “wow this sucks/I’m so unlucky” as if it’s normal. if this is happening to you 1. you are most likely immunocompromised. 2. wear a fucking mask and you’ll stop getting sick so often. it is not rocket science.
healthy adults do not get sick with a cough/cold/respiratory illness in general more than once or maybe twice a year if they’re unlucky or have a higher exposure risk (work with children etc). I know it’s normal now because everyone’s immune system has been destroyed by covid and no one masks anymore but it should not fucking be this way.
not even beginning to touch on how many young people have increased fatigue and brain fog, new neurological symptoms, nausea, losing consciousness randomly without warning– you have long covid. long covid is (usually if not always) brain damage. there is no cure for it. further covid infections will most likely make it worse. you need to wear a fucking mask.
Best part of the actually Kansas flu? We had no fucking idea til like 10 years ago. It makes sense: thats where some of the first ww1 american camps were.
