Arthur and Georgie Gaskin - An Arts and Crafts Gold Gem-set Pendant/Brooch, Circa 1909. Of floral and foliate motifs, bezel-set with foil-backed sapphires, pink gemstones, and a sapphire, with single-cut diamond and seed pearl accents, reverse with floral decoration, unsigned, 3 in. This piece is believed to be part of a larger necklace presented by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham to Queen Alexandra upon her visit to the city in 1909.
Florence Koehler brooch
From Chicago, USA: Pin, Florence Koehler (1861–1944), ca. 1905, American, founder of the Chicago Arts and Crafts Movement. Made of gold, sapphire, pearls, emeralds, and enamel. The brooch has a matching comb. Green enameled leaves and a cluster of pearls decorate both pieces, which reside at the Metropolitan Museum of art.
