Antique ashtrays vintage

This was my fathers. He bought it when furnishing his place after returning from Europe and WWII. It is actually an ashtray that's heavy cut glass but because of the design it's hard to tell that was the intended purpose. The curved top pattern goes all the way around so it just becomes part of the design. I think it would be perfect sitting on the table with candy or nuts, bedside where you could put your jewelry at the end of the day, or your keys so you can find them. It's very nice…

This piece of early American Tobacciana is a heavy high quality three toed milk glass ashtray that was made by the Le. Smith Glass Co. The ashtray is pressed glass pressed in the English Hobnail pattern that was inspired by Westmoreland glass Co. who originated the pattern in the 1920's. The English Hobnail pattern is a raised glass geometric diamond hobnail design that surrounds the whole piece which Le. Smith made their own mold to create this one of a kind three toed ashtray version that…
