You're just going to toss them in your crock pot and that's it. It's that easy. Just kidding. Actually you want to start them off on a sheet pan or on a cutting board because we want to remove this membrane from the back. If you don't know how to do it just Google it it's not that hard. I promise. Once you have the membrane gone we're going to make the rub. Come in here. Come a little closer. That's better. Uh the rub consists of one teaspoon of brown sugar. 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika. One teaspoon of chili powder. One teaspoon of ground cumin. One teaspoon of garlic powder. Two teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Once you have all that in a bowl go ahead and mix it altogether. And then you're just going to start pouring it onto your baby back ribs and using your hands you're just going to gently massage it and massage it. You don't want to miss a single square inch of this baby. Magic fingers. Magic fingers. Once you have it all rubbed in. Grab that crock pot. Throw the ribs back in. Uh take half an onion. Chop it up. Drop it right in the middle. Two cloves of garlic. Chop those up. Drop those right in the middle. One half cup of water. Pour it in. Put the lid on. Set this to low. Hit a start button and wait 6 hours. When your six hours are up, if if these ribs are really done, you shouldn't be able to pull them out like this because it's going to rip the bones out just like that. What you going to need to do is cut it into as many sections as you want. I did three and then remove each section one at a time. Put them on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Something that you can throw in the oven but before you throw in the oven, you want to slather these babies with your favorite barbecue sauce or even a homemade barbecue sauce if you're feeling fancy and then toss em in the oven I don't know two to 5 minutes broil. Uh just let that barbecue sauce caramelize. And then oh look at this. Man they are just falling apart. Let's just pull one of these ribs off and taste it. Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs. Who doesn't love ribs, right? Oh my god. It's delicious. It's falling off the bone. It's got great flavor. What more do you want? If you don't have a smoker or you just don't want to leave your house, slow cooker ribs. Ever done this? You got a better recipe? Got something to say. See you in the comments.
