- For the Bacon Apple Jam:
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Pink Lady (or your favorite) apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- For the wontons
- 16 wonton wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups Pimento Cheese
- Grapeseed or canola oil
