Thanks for uploading this image.
It seems to be a copyrights problems, because cathy freeman's web page doesn't clears the copyrights matter. So it can't be included in commons.

Image Tagging Image:Religions-schema_3_former.JPG
[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Religions-schema_3_former.JPG. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use cc-by-sa-3.0 to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or PD-self to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. Hello Caspiax,
the following content you uploaded is not free and therefore had to be deleted:
- Non-commercial images
The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files which can be used for any purpose, including:
- use in any work, regardless of content
- creation of derivative works

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on the Wikimedia Commons. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on the Wikimedia Commons: "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload works you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial to understanding how the Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions. / Fred J 14:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which information may be missing. Thank you.

In the form contained in that image, the diagram seems more likely to come from a work of early 20th-century esoteric Christian-influenced mysticism or Theosophy, than to be drawn by the Báb (who died in 1850 without any special knowledge of English, and who does not seem to have been heavily influenced by specifically Christian beliefs and terminology). The only Bahai influence I can detect in the diagram is the nine-pointed star... AnonMoos (talk) 06:41, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

I have reverted your addition of the Baha'i buildings category to many pages. A "Baha'i buildings" category is pretty vague, and all of the pages you added the category to already had more specific categories such as Category:Seat of the Universal House of Justice. Categorization should be specific, and images in specific categories should not be placed in categories which they themselves include the subcategories. For example a picture of a House of Worship should not be placed in a the "Baha'i buildings" category because it is itself in the Category:Bahá'í House of Worship which is itself in Category:Bahá'í places category which is like the Baha'i buildings category. If you wish you can place other categories in a Baha'i buildings category. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 02:45, 30 July 2009 (UTC) ---
- Om ni läser http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Categories ni se att filer ska placeras i den mest specifika kategorin: "The general rule is always place an image in the most specific categories, and not in the levels above those" Observera att formuleringen anger "mest specifika kategorin.

- If it's not Cambridge, I think it must be Leeds, but I can't remember. I was 15 that year, and Tosh wasn't particularly well known in Scandinavia. We was there for football (soccer), and my older brother wanted desperately to see a show with the new band Steel Pulse from Birmingham. So you are right, it can't be Cambridge. The trip to England for six nights and entrance to two soccer matches was the first prize in a football knowledge competition arranged by the Saturday afternoon television soccer show sv:Tipsextra for soccer lovers and people who uses to play football coupon. The image is a derivate of course, an it's from my brothers camera. He and the older fellows were too drunken to use the camera, and I think that Steel Pulse may have been pre-concert band. This was 30 years ago. I got the analog tape and some others at home, and I am willing to send the one with Tosh to Wikimedia Commons for an analyze. Thanks for uploading File:Marley Grona Lund 1978.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT ([email protected]). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Marley Grona Lund 1978.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 12:15, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

The Police, Elvis Costello, Jokkmokks-Jocke, Manfred Mann, Gary Glitter, The Osmonds, Rolling Stones, Mirjam Makeba, Peter Tosh, Ronnie Pettersson, Ricky Brusch m.fl.

File:Port Arthur Norberg.jpg
[edit]Hej.
/Lokal_Profil 22:47, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Bonjour, Caspiax,

Is it possible to illustrate it with the picture of Bob Marley, i've found it on the page http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fichier:Bob_Marley_emancipated_from_mental_slavery_1.jpg Is this picture in the public domain ? Or can i have your authorisation to use it… Have you maybe an high résolution version ? (i will thanks you under this photo) Thank you for your help… ----- (talk) 19:43, 22 November 2012 (UTC) |
- Selamta! Yes, it's in the public domain, you can use it free. It's a derivation from my old film camera, so I don't have any higher resolutions. Good luck with your book about ganja farmers. Anything about cannabis as medicine and the actual research about medical use? --85.226.106.239 10:45, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

/Axel Pettersson (WMSE) (talk) 15:31, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
