The book "Autodesign in Nederland" lists "Cotura" as a brand in it's own right. The chassis and body are supposedly made by Co van der Tuyn, a Dutch coachbuilder. He used the BMW mechanics to build at least 2 of these specials, one getting a Mercedes-Benz later on in it's life.

I am a bit surprised you found this car in Austria and congratulate you with quite a rare find!

I do. As said, it is it's own make, so theoretically, it should go in category dutch vehicles too. It is used now on the Dutch Wiki for Co van der Tuyn
