Svenska: De vinner “Det gyllene förstoringsglaset” 2024

Årets hederspris går till Wikipedianen, den person som tillsammans med andra arbetar för att skapa och upprätthålla uppslagsverket Wikipedia.

Juryns motivering – Wikipedianen:

“Det gyllene förstoringsglaset 2024 tilldelas Wikipedianen för sitt engagemang att kollektivt samskapa ett sakligt uppslagsverk där kritiskt granskande, rättningar och ständigt uppdaterande är helt avgörande för att den kunskapstörstige Wikipedia-besökaren ska mötas av pålitlig information. Wikipedianens arbete i den större gemenskapen, där alla diskussioner om innehållet sker helt öppet och transparent, är både källkritik i praktiken, en källkritisk hjälp och en fantastisk insats för alla läsare.”

Diplomet överlämnades vid en ceremoni där Jenny Brandt och Axel Pettersson från Wikimedia Sverige fick ta emot priset å Wikipedianens vägnar.
