Summary
[edit]DescriptionWest Somerset Mineral Railway winding house - East side.jpg |
English: The Incline, lying between Brendon Hill and Comberow, and the remains of Combe Row Station The winding house contained the steam engine and winch. The wagons passed over the roof of the building which has embankments on each side. The engine operator also lived in the building. A private individual owned this building for a time, and added some window frames in an attempt at restoration. They are not to the original design and the work was halted due to the resulting objections.
