Summary
English: The fosse Arenberg of the Compagnie des mines d'Anzin is a coal mine with three shafts (one has two compartment) located in Wallers, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. The photo shows the headframe of the shaft Arenberg 2, famous to appear in Germinal and L'Affaire Salengro. In the background, you can see the forest of Raismes-Saint-Amand-Wallers. The Paris–Roubaix goes here every year, by passing the Trouée d'Arenberg.
