Description
Português: Projecto para uma alteração ao traçado da Linha de Cascais entre a Cruz Quebrada e Alcântara, junto a Lisboa, em Portugal. Esta modificação, que nunca chegou a ser feita, tinha como objectivo reduzir a quantidade de passagens de nível naquele troço, e de libertar espaço na zona ocupada pela via férrea. Esta imagem foi publicada na Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro n.º 1224, de 16 de Dezembro de 1938, e digitalizada pela Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
English: Project for a modification on the Cascais Railway between Cruz Quebrada and Alcântara, near Lisbon, in Portugal. This change, that was never implemented, was to reduce the number of level crossings, and free the space occupied by the railway line. This image was published on the Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro magazine no. 1224, of the 16th December 1938, and scanned by the Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
