Description
Español: Hacía las funciones parroquiales, ya que en su interior se encontraba la pila bautismal. Es una capilla de tamaño reducido, ya que se encuentra justo debajo de la antigua torre. Contiene en su interior un retablo neoclásico, realizado por Jorge Somoza en 1846, que se organiza a modo de arco del triunfo, con cuatro grandes columnas corintias. Además, hay varios lienzos y parte de la antigua sillería del siglo XV procedente de la colegiata. La capilla se cierra con una reja del siglo XVII, rematada con crestería barroca tallada en madera.
English: The chapel of San Juan Evangelista pursued the parochial functions as the baptismal pile was located in it. It is a small chapel due to its situation, just under the ancient tower. It is decorated with a neoclassic altarpiece made by Jorge Somoza in 1846. The arrangement is in the way of an arch of triumph with four big corinthian columns. There are several paints and a part of the 15th century ashlar coming from the collegiate church. The chapel has a 17th century grid which is finished with barroque crenellations carved in wood.
