Description Vom Mittelalter bis in die Neuzeit sind es in Ulm nur ein paar Schritte. Das gotische Münster mit dem höchsten Kirchturm der Welt steht nicht weit entfernt neben der »Neuen Mitte« Ulms mit ihrer modernen Architektur. Überragt wird die Stadt vom 161 Meter hohen Turm des Münsters, einem Meisterwerk gotischer Baukunst. Das Mittelschiff alleine hat eine Länge von 124 Meter. Im Jahre 1377 wurde mit dem Bau begonnen. Mehr als 500 Jahre sollten vergehen, bis 1890 der Schlussstein gesetzt wurde.
