Español: La torre de Mirabel se encuentra entre los prados de la margen septentrional del curso bajo del arroyo Jóbalo, poco antes de su desembocadura en el Lozoya, transformándose esta zona en el pantano del Atazar. En el ángulo formado por ambos cauces, no muy lejos de la torre, se asentaba la ahora despoblada aldea de Santillana, que ha dado su nombre a toda la zona. Al norte sube ligeramente, al sur, está dominado por el Pico de las Vacas y, al sureste, por los cerros que anteceden a la Dehesa Vieja.
Se puede acceder a ella desde Siete Iglesias, por un camino de servicio que, en dirección sureste, conduce hacia las márgenes del pantano del Atazar. La torre queda a la derecha, dentro de una finca ganadera, llamada Santillana. También por la carretera M-127 de El Berrueco a Manjirón entre el kilómetro 7-8, pasado el arroyo Jóbalo y un primer camino, se abre otro a la izquierda que siguiéndolo nos acerca a la torre. |
