SUMMARY: Three men breaking a large bowl which is cracked and patched. Lord North is shown chiselling inside the bowl, behind the bowl is Lord Sandwich, next to Lord Sandwich is a man identified as Lord George Germain. Behind Lord North stands George III whose hands are raised as if in surprise. On the wall behind are posted two documents labelled "List of the Navy" and "Plan of Minden".
