Description

Tandem bicycles

English: Members of the Israeli Tandem club (ETGARIM) on a trip to Turkey. Fall of 2005, the Taurus Mountains.
עברית: צמד רוכבים בטיול לטורקיה של מועדון רכיבת אופני הטנדם הישראלי של עמותת אתגרים. הטיול כלל רכיבה באזור הרי הטאורוס. אופני טנדם הם אופניים המיועדים לשני רוכבים או יותר, היושבים זה מאחורי זה ותורמים יחד את הכוח להנעת האופניים. האופניים משמשים בין השאר לשילוב נכים בספורט הרכיבה - למשל עיוורים הרוכבים מאחורי רוכב קדמי רואה. בישראל מפעילה עמותת אתגרים בסיוע מתנדבים מועדוני רכיבת טנדם לנכים בערים הגדולות.
