| Description |
English: Steps to nowhere? This elaborate set of steps is evidently quite new, and there doesn't seem to be anywhere for it to go to. The gate is padlocked, though the fence would not prevent any moderately determined person from gaining access. I can only assume that it is to give railway maintenance workers access to the bridges to both left and right. Perhaps required by health and safety legislation? Does this imply that every railway bridge all over the country will have to be provided with similar access? |
