Description
English: The former city library (later state library) in Bremen, Germany, at the Breitenweg street, near the central train station. The neo-renaissance building by Johann Georg Poppe with three gabels was constructed in the year 1897 and severly damaged in an air raid in 1942.
Deutsch: Die ehemalige Stadtbiliothek (später Staatsbibliothek) in Bremen am Breitenweg nahe dem Hauptbahnhof. Der Bau von Johann Georg Poppe im Stile der Neorenaissance mit drei Giebeln wurde 1897 errichtet und 1942 bei einem Bombenangriff schwer beschädigt.
