Description
Deutsch: St. Peter und Paul (1142, erste Erwähnung 970) auf der Insel Ufenau war über Jahrhunderte die Pfarrkirche für die umliegenden Gemeinden im Gebiet des 'linksufrigen' Zürichsees und ist die letzte Ruhestätte von Ulrich von Hutten (*1488; †1523 auf der Ufenau).
English: St. Peter und Paul was built in 1142, a former building is first mentioned in 970 A.D. St. Peter und Paul was for centuries a Parish church, situated on the Ufenau island (Zürichsee) in Switzerland. Ulrich von Hutten (*1488; †1523) refuged on the island and is buried besides St. Peter und Paul.
