The factual accuracy of this description or the file name is disputed.
Reason: It is not clear that these examples constitute censorship. Neither Kirov nor Shvernik "fell out of favor", while the version with only Stalin is clearly a painting, not a photo. More information would be needed to prove the cropped photo excluding Antipov was related to the purge, but all things considered the description and file name are misleading.
Description
English: The original picture, left to right Nikolai Antipov (formerly the People's Commissar for Posts and Telegraphs of the USSR), Joseph Stalin, Sergei Kirov, Nikolai Shvernik and Nikolay Komarov. Picture shows how after time each of the Stalin's comrades from the original shot was removed as they fell out of favor. All pictures fall under Public Domain as they were published before January 1, 1954. Works belonging to the former Soviet government or other Soviet legal entities published before January 1st, 1954, are public domain in Russia. Image is based a book cover but copyrighted material has been taken out.

This work is in the public domain in Russia according to article 1281 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 231-FZ of the Russian Federation of December 18, 2006 (the Implementation Act for Book IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
