English: Whale jaw bone decorated with scrimshaw Purchased in Edinburgh. It is one piece of a jaw with six teeth and a hole for a missing tooth. The nose end of the jaw has porous texture to the bone and along the jaw are small holes in the bone. The scrimshaw design is of two females wearing victorian style clothing, the women are facing each other. Above the women are two ornate spade shapes |
