RAINUSH BY GOVIND KUMAR SINGH , WINTER FESTIVE 2015 COLLECTION AT BFW The Ultimate Confluence The human body is probably God’s ultimate level of excellence. A composition so beautiful that there’s never an end to discovering it. And in the era when finding peace is not just a want, but an indispensable need, this collection takes you on a detour to spiritual discoveries. Focusing on the seven basic chakras that govern the human body, namely muldhara, svadisthana, manipura, anahata, visuddha, ajna, and sahasrara, the collection combines various elements that give these insights tactility. Each chakra is associated to a basic human phenomenon. Chakra one, Muladhara, means root and support, the Second Chakra called svadisthana means sweetness, the third chakra is the Manipura chakra, which means lustrous gem representing willpower, the fourth chakra, called Anahata, is located at the heart and its function is love. The fifth chakra is called Visuddha, which means purification and is located at the throat, the sixth chakra located on the forehead represents the power to perceive. The seventh chakra — the crown chakra — is called Sahasrara, which means “thousandfold.” It is located just above the top of the head. The seventh chakra represents thought, and its manifestation is information. Colors that combine energies, silhouettes and textures that connect to the various levels of enlightenment constitute the highlights of this collection. These carefully crafted garments are represented in the sequence of awakening that a human aims at achieving through meditation, starting with the perennial region and finally reaching the crown area. The collection also follows the same pattern where all the emotions and colors merge and finally result into an elaborate white garment that represents the ultimate stage of enlightenment. |
