Summary
[edit]DescriptionQueen's Quay - Geograph-3789712-by-The-Carlisle-Kid.jpg |
English: Queen's Quay station - former BCDR workshops (interior) While the BCDR line to Holywood opened in 1848, the workshops were probably built at a later date. They were retained by NIR after the station closed, but demolished 1994/95 to make way for the M3 motorway. The 80-class set is 738+88, sent to the Bangor line in the early days of 1976 to give commuters a taste of things to come. All locations are approximate as this site is now under the M3 motorway/cross-harbour link. |
