Description
English: Paul Czermak (1857–1912) was an Austrian physicist. He studied in Graz, Prague, Vienna and Strasbourg. He was appointed professor of cosmic physics and meteorology at the University of Graz. He also taught at the University of Innsbruck. The portrait photo is part of a photo album from 1902 for the early retirement of chemistry professor Karl Senhofer (1841–1904). His colleagues at the Faculty of Philosophy in Innsbruck dedicated the faculty album to him.


Deutsch: Paul Czermak (1857–1912) war ein österreichischer Physiker. Er studierte in Graz, Prag, Wien und Straßburg. An der Universität Graz wurde er zum Professor für kosmische Physik und Meteorologie ernannt. Er lehrte auch an der Universität Innsbruck.

Das Porträtfoto stammt aus einem Fotoalbum um 1902 zur vorzeitigen Emeritierung von Chemieprofessor Karl Senhofer (1841–1904). Die Kollegen der damaligen Philosophischen Fakultät in Innsbruck widmeten ihm das Fakultätsalbum.
