Description

Diagram of British No. 25 Time fuze Mk IV, 1914, used for star shells.
Body is of aluminium. Threaded for G.S. 1 inch socket.
Normally used for Star shells.
Has a weak stirrup spring, suited to relatively weak shock of firing of reduced charges used for star shells. The fuze is armed by the shock of discharge (firing).
Burning time at rest : 15 seconds.


May be used for star shell for all QF guns and howitzers.
