Description
English: 150513-N- RX401-33 IWO TO, Japan – An F/A-18F Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron 102 practices a touch-and-go landing during Field Carrier Landing Practice at Iwo To, Japan. Carrier Air Wing 5 is forward deployed to Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan. Annually, pilots are required to complete both day and night FCLPs in preparation for landing safely on an aircraft carrier while the ship is underway.
