Mumie des Minpriesters Harsiese aus Achmin aus der frühen Ptolemäerzeit (Ende 4. Jhd.). Aufgenommen im Überseemuseeum in Bremen. Der Sarg besteht aus Sykomorenholz mit Tamariskendübeln. Die Mumie trägt eine teilweise vergoldete Maske aus Stuckcatonage. Röntgenuntersuchungen zeigten einen ca. 40 - 50 Jährigen mit leichten Degenerationserscheinungen an Gefäßen, Gelenken und Wirbelsäule. Die Zähne waren zum Teil ausgefallen, stark abgeschliffen und einige Zahnwurzeln erheblich entzündet. Rechts war das Wadenbein gebrochen, jedoch auf dem Wege der Besserung, als der Harsiese verstarb. |
