English: Spanish quietist Miguel de Molinos (1628-1696).
Français : Légende de la gravure : « Michel Molinos, du diocèse de Saragosse, chef des quiétistes, fit abjuration de ses propositions hérétiques le 3 septembre 1687 dans l'église Sainte Marie de la Minerve à Rome, en présence des cardinaux, d'un grand nombre de princes et de grands seigneurs. Ensuite il fut vêtu d'un scapulaire jaune, marqué d'une croix rouge devant et derrière, après quoi il fut condamné à une prison perpétuelle. Ce portrait est gravé par Jean Hainzelman sur vu[e du] dessin original envoyé à une personne de la première qualité de Paris.
