English: Division of Mediterranean sea in the Upper Middle Age (year 800 AD) Just a clarification - There were only three kingdoms at that time: Carolings, Roman Empire and Bulgarian Kingdom in between. Bulgarian kongdom was situated on the Balkans, South from Danube river (the yellow part), West from Mare Negro, North from Tracia/Adrianopolis
