Summary
[edit]DescriptionLake in Lower Central Park b.jpg |
After visiting the Apple store in mid-town Manhattan for an unsuccessful effort to buy a new iPhone 3g (see Waiting for iPhone 3g for a description of what that was all about), I decided to walk through Central Park in order to get back to the Upper West Side. These pictures were taken at various points during that stroll... This was taken just inside the southeastern corner of Central Park, where a small pond presents a scenic backdrop against the skyline along Central Park South. I thought the flowers made an interesting contrast against the pond; but I also wanted to show the backdrop of the skyline... Note: this photo was published in an Oct 3, 2009 blog titled "Central Park Flowers in Bloom." |
