Description
Français : L'image est une photo de l'oeuvre peinte sur toile de Bocar Pathé Diong, un des artistes peintres du premier groupe de "l'école de Dakar". Elle représente un guerrier stylisé brandissant ,légèrement de biais, une lance. L'ensemble de l'oeuvre joue sur le thème du bleu avec des dominantes de bleue, un fond gris bleu et quelques touches de jaune.

J'ai pris moi-même cette photo d'un tableau que j'ai acheté à son auteur, Bocar Pathé Diong, en 1974. L'article de Wikipédia relatif à ce peintre décédé fait état du souhait de le compléter par une photo d'une oeuvre de l'artiste. Je suis le possesseur d'une telle oeuvre, assez représentative de son style pour la période concernée.
