Description

Am Donnerstag, dem 13.12.2012 gegen 08:45 Uhr, kam es auf der Bundesstraße 4 im Bereich der Ortsumfahrung Sondershausen zu einem schweren Verkehrsunfall. Bei diesem Unfall wurden zwei Personen leicht verletzt.

Eine 26-jährige Fahrzeugführerin befuhr mit ihren PKW VW Polo die Bundesstraße 4 aus Richtung Erfurt kommend. Im Bereich des Kilometers 1,7 überholte sie eine Kolonne, wobei sie im Verlauf des Überholvorganges auf winterglatter Fahrbahn ins Schleudern geriet und mit einem entgegenkommenden LKW zusammenstieß.

Durch den Anstoß wurde der LKW nach rechts von der Fahrbahn in die Leitplanke geschoben, kippte auf die Fahrerseite um und der mitgeführte Hänger stellte sich quer zur Fahrbahn. Der Motor des VW Polo wurde aus dem Fahrzeug geschleudert und beschädigte ein weiteres Fahrzeug. Auf Grund der komplizierten Bergungsarbeiten musste die Bundesstraße 4 für etwa 4 Stunden voll gesperrt werden.

Die Polizei beziffert den entstandenen Sachschaden auf 90.000 Euro.
