Description John White Edwards. Canadian-born late 19th century Seattle, Washington land developer, with a background in lumber mills (in his native Canada and in Port Madison, Washington). He is the "Edwards" of the Post-Edwards Building that for about 75 years was a major building in the 1300 block of Seattle's First Avenue; as of 2008, only a small portion of the building remains.
