Description
English: Founder's share of the Société Anonyme du Home-Décor, issued in Paris on 9 September 1898, designed by the Italian Francisco Nicolas Tamagno, who worked as a poster designer in Paris from 1890. In 1898, Tamagno created the figure of Pierrot for liqueur Cointreau, which was to remain the company's mascot for 50 years. The Home-Décor Company produced interior decoration for theatres and for operas.
